My views about Himalaya Herbals Deep Cleansing Milk:

I was always in search of a nice cleanser as it is one important thing that i cannot ignore. The reason why I chose Himalaya Herbals Cleansing milk is because of their herbal formulation they claim to have in their products. I bought a 100 ml bottle as I am not sure whether this is going to suit me or not. The packaging is very decent. It comes in a regular white bottle with a green flip-flop cap. The cap is sturdy and fits well to avoid any spillage. It has a very mild and pleasant fragrance. The consistency of the Cleansing milk is creamy and thick. Due to this i always get the right amount on my palms. :D . the cream has to be applied and massaged for a minute and then you can remove it with a cotton pad. It gently removes all the impurities and make-up. But the water-proof ones are little hard to remove. My face feels clean and fresh after using this. But if I try to remove my eye make-up with this, it irritated my eyes. :(

Likes:
  • The packaging is sturdy and nice.
  • Its economical
  • The texture is nice and not runny.
  • Leaves the clean and soft
  • Did not break me out.
  • Did not dry my skin.
  • Claims to have herbal formulations.
  • Very mild and pleasant fragrance.

Dislikes:
  • Stings the eyes.
  • Cannot remove the water-proof make up so easily.

Swatches:

From Left to Right: Lotus Herbals Kajal, Faces pencil in Forest Green, Lakme Lip Liner, Faces pencil in  turquoise blue.
Have taken a small quantity of Himalaya cleansing Milk

The Lotus Herbals Kajal,& Lakme Lip Liner came off easily after one swipe. You can see the water proof liners are still there.

After swiping the cleanser for 4-6 times the water-proof pencils came off.

Rating: 3.8/5

Overall a decent cleanser, though does not remove water-proof make up easily. I would always want to keep it handy at times of need.

  2. Nice review dear. Agree its not so effective to remove any kind of waterproof makeup. I use it in Bangalore winters at night instead of a face wash. Makes my skin feel soft and doesn't leave a very oily film like some other cleansers. N yeah stings the eyes badly if I use it to take off eyeliner! :(
