This miraculous product’s technological innovation with ceramide-cement helps protect and repair hair damage caused by daily aggressors like the sun, pollution and water.  It helps to avoid tangles and breakage, leaving hair smooth and nourished”

Created after advanced research by the Loreal team, the Loreal total repair 5 smoothening and nourishing oil serum helps in instant smoothening of dry and unmanageable hair. Formulated with a two level action, this nourishing oil serum from Loreal repairs and rejuvenates hair surface and cuticles. Its unique action creates a protective layer surrounding the hair and protects it from further spoilage and split ends. Its caring formula nourishes your hair from root to tip, making it look healthy and smooth.

Directions to use: Use this serum on damp, towel dried hair and only on the hair's length and ends. Take a few drops on your palm. Rub your hands together and spread evenly over your hairs length, especially concentrating on the ends. Now you can go ahead and easily comb your hair without the fear of tangles or breakage.

Price: Rs.125/- for 40 ml.

My views:

I have been using the L’Oreal Total repair 5 shampoo and conditioner for almost 6 months now and I quite like it to an extent. When I saw the Serum from this range, I wanted to get this so badly as the TV commercial was so tempting. :x  So I could not resist and bought the 40ml bottle to give it a try. The packaging is ok. It has the regular white body and a red cap.(like the shampoo and conditioner from Total repair 5 range). The serum has the right consistency. It spreads evenly when applied. It has a nice pleasant fragrance to it. A little amount is required for the entire hair. It can be used on both wet/dry hair. It softens the dry/frizzy hair and also de-tangles the hair smoothly. But my hair did not experience any miraculous repair as the product claimed. (Not that I was seriously looking for!!! :D)

  • A little goes a long way. Considering this, the bottle will last at least 2 months.
  • It softens the rough/frizzy hair and leaves a nice shine.
  • Can be used on wet/dry hair.
  • It does not weigh your hair down.
  • Leaves a nice pleasant fragrance after application.
  • The job of de-tangling the hair becomes easy after application.

  • Might leave an oily feeling if excess amount is applied.
  • Nothing except the fact that it does not do wonders for your hair, like LITERALLY repair-as they claim.

Rating: 4/5

This one is surely worth trying. Though it is not a miraculous product for your hair, it is worth giving a try. You might really like it!!!
