My take on Maybelline BB Cream:

I was very excited to try out the much raved Maybelline’s BB Cream as it is the first time a BB cream is being launched in India. However its named as Benefit Bright Cream instead of Blemish Balm.

The first thing that caught my attention is definitely the packaging. Its comes in a beautiful and sturdy packaging. It has a small nozzle through which the product can be squeezed out. The texture of the cream is good. I mean not really thick or runny. . It does look a bit ashy the moment you apply it but it settles down in some time and adjusts to your skin tone. It does not provide a major coverage but it definitely evens out my skin tone and brightens up my face. I layer it up by using it as a concealer and works well that way too. It has an SPF content of 21 so that’s definitely an addition. However it did not help much in hydrating my very Dry skin, so I try to overcome that by using  a moisturizer. So overall I quite liked it and look forward to use it regularly.

Pros:
  • Easily available
  • The packaging is beautiful and sturdy.
  • Decently priced.
  • Feels very Light on skin.
  • Has SPF content.
  • Available in 3 different shades.
  • Evens out the skin to an extent and leaves skin fresh.
  • Lasts on me for almost 5-7 Hours

Cons:
  • I would want to see more shades that would compliment Dusky skin tones.
  • Without a moisturizer beneath the blending becomes bit difficult on my dry skin.
  • It would be great if there is more quantity in the tube :D

Swatches:

Rating: 4/5

Overall, i loved this and i would definitely be using this over the Tinted Moisturizers for the coming summers.
