Lotus Herbals - Natural Blend Swift Makeup - Natural Beige - Review

Hi Girls :)

Today's review is on Lotus Herbals - Natural Blend Swift Makeup in the shade Natural Beige 720.

What the Product Claims:

All-in-one make-up that works like a foundation, a concealer & a compact, with sun protection. Its smooth application creates an even skin tone, conceals imperfections & blends easily for a matte effect, without caking or clogging pores.

Price: Rs.249/-  for 10g. (Can be purchased at lesser price on e-shopping sites)

Shades available:
  • Honey Beige 710
  • Natural Beige 720
  • Cream Peach 730

My Experience with Lotus Herbals - Natural Blend Swift Makeup:

First thing that I noticed is that it’s foundation that comes in a Twist-up tube type packaging. The packaging is again simple and practical for a stick foundation. It comes in a red-gold plastic case. The shade Natural Beige suits the medium skin tones. The texture of the foundation is creamy and blends really well into the skin. It feels very light and does not dry the skin or leave any dry patches. It imparts a dewy finish, but it needs to be set with a compact especially Oily-skinned beauties. Staying power is again decent. It lasts for about 5-6 Hours. It Claims to have SPF 15, but I advise to not skip the Sun Screen beneath. Coverage wise it provides a Light - medium coverage, so does not really help in covering the blemishes or acne spots. But i am really disappointed in terms of the Shade Range. I wish they have more shades available especially for Dusky Skin Tones. Also i personally am not fond of the Fragrance. Its not so over-powering but somehow i don't really like the fragrance.

The best part about this is that it can be used as an Eye-Shadow Base. It helps the eye-shadow last long, prevents creasing and makes the colors to pop-out. *Tried and Tested*  :)

  • Simple and Convenient packaging.
  • Affordable
  • Feels very Light on skin and blends well into the skin.
  • Provides Low-Medium coverage, Hence perfect for ‘No-make up’ look.
  • Does not dry out the skin.
  • Can also be used as an Eye-shadow base.
  • Decent  staying power.

  • Ingredient List is missing.
  • Might not suit Oily Skin girls. May have to set it with powder.
  • Would really prefer more shades especially for dusky beauties.
  • Does not proving good coverage for spots and blemishes.
  • Would prefer more SPF

Rating: 3.5/5

Overall, its a great budget buy foundation. But do not expect heavy coverage as this only only provides Low-medium coverage. A great choice for Dry-skin beauties.
