My Experience with Lakme Perfect Radiance Multi Mineral Compact:

I was always hunting for a nice compact powder as most of them look dry or patchy on my already dry skin. So when i first saw this at the store, i actually fell for the packaging. Its such a relief from the usual maroon case packaging of Lakme's earlier compact powders. I picked this up hoping it would work on me as the price is very very affordable.

The packaging as i said earlier, is very girly and cute. It comes in a cute white and pink color packaging. It comes with a powder applicator and an in-built mirror. However i did not like the applicator that much as i usually end up applying more than required. I usually use my powder brush to apply and that way i get a more natural and a flawless finish.

Firstly it claims to have Multi minerals and SPF 20, so i am happy. Though i make sure that i don't skip my Sun screen as i have a very sensitive skin that's prone to sun tan.

Coming to the texture of the powder, its very light and blends really well. Gives a natural finish and covers minor flaws and also leaves a nice healthy glow. I don expect heavy coverage from a compact powder anyway. I have a dry skin so i make sure i moisturize my skin well before putting this on to avoid any dry patches. This compact never dried my skin further. My friend who has an Oily skin also uses this and says that this one keep oiliness at bay for a good time.

Considering the fact that very little amount is required to cover the entire face, this one lasts really long and that really makes it super affordable.

The problem is the limited shade range. Me being dusky, i picked up the last shade Rose Honey and its pretty fine so far. Still i hope there are more shades to choose from.

Pros of Lakme Perfect Radiance Multi Mineral Compact:
  • Affordable Price.
  • Cute pink and decent packaging.
  • Comes with a built in mirror and an applicator.
  • Claims to have Multi minerals.
  • Has SPF 20(Though i don't recommend to skip your sun screen).
  • Loved the texture, very light and blends really well.
  • Does not look cake-y or un-natural upon application.
  • For a compact powder it provides good coverage.
  • Keeps oiliness at bay for a good time.
  • Product lasts really long as very little quantity is required every time you use.

Cons of Lakme Perfect Radiance Multi Mineral Compact:
  • The applicator is average and not of great use.
  • Shade range is very limited especially for dusky skin tones
